Dr Agarwal completed training through the Western Australian Radiology Training program.

In 2016, Dr Agarwal was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR). She subsequently completed a diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship at the Neuro-intervention and Imaging Services of Western Australia (NIISWA), studying all aspects of neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, spine imaging and basic spinal interventional procedures.

Extensive clinical experience has been gained working as a consultant both in the private and public sectors. These include I-MED Radiology in Perth (2018), staff specialist at Flinders Medical Centre and locum consultant at Jones Radiology in Adelaide (2019), staff specialist at Royal Northshore Hospital and Northshore Radiology in Sydney (2020).

Dr Agarwal has additionally worked as a research fellow for ‘Diagnostic Imaging Pathways’ (an evidence based online decision support tool for both referrers and consumers).

Dr Agarwal has been widely published both in national and international journals including The American Journal of Neuroradiology, Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery, and has presented at national and international scientific meetings.

As an active participant at various neurology and neurosurgical multidisciplinary meetings, Dr Agarwal would be pleased to be consulted on any radiology referrals, in particular those related to neuroradiology.
