Patient fees charged by Jones Radiology are consistent with providing quality, diagnostic imaging services and procedures.
Payment options are:
- Full payment on the day – quick and simple. Pay in full and our reception staff will claim your Medicare benefits online for you. Any available rebate will be deposited into your Medicare-linked bank account within 24-48 hours.
- Gap payment only – a little more effort. Pay the gap only and our reception staff will submit the claim online. Once processed by Medicare you will receive a cheque in the post to be posted back to us within 30 days.
Payments may be made by Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS, American Express, Mastercard, Visa or BPAY.

Fees vary between imaging modalities. Patients are advised of an approximate cost before their examination.
The Medicare schedule of fees represents what the Federal Government is prepared to contribute towards the cost of health services. Unfortunately, it does not cover the costs of providing high quality care in our clinics. The patient co-contribution, or gap, is the difference between the cost of providing high-quality health care, and the Medicare rebate.
